VAAKUNA JA LOGO

Sukuseuran hallitus hyväksyi 10.4.2021 kokouksessaan Tuomas Poutiaisen 1.2.2021 tekemästä viidestä ehdotuksesta ohessa kuvatun mallin sukuseuran vaakunaksi.

Perustelut vaakunalle:
Värit viittaavat Savoon, Keski-Suomeen ja Karjalaan suvun laajenemisjärjestyksessä vasemmalta oikealle. Kilven jako airutkuvioineen viittaa Rautalammin vaakunaan, suvun vanhimman löydetyn esi-isän synnyinpaikkaan ja varikset viittaavat sekä hänen kolmeen poikaansa että sukunimeen itseensä.

Samassa kokouksessa hyväksyttiin Tuomas Poutiaisen tekemä ehdotus sukuseuran logoksi

Perusteluna valinnalle oli selkeä yhteys VARIS-sukuun ja helppo käytettävyys eri yhteyksissä.
